TAR

TAR is a fine dining restaurant located on the small island of Tervasaari in Helsinki. Built into a beautifully restored old barn, the space preserves the building’s original character while honoring the island’s rich history. The restaurant offers an elevated rustic dining experience inspired by the chef’s Estonian heritage.

I created TAR’s logo and visual identity direction, including the brand guidelines, which were used as the foundation for further design executions. The concept draws from the earthy textures of the island, the warmth of wood and tar, and the restaurant’s refined yet grounded character.
